I started out looking into HARO for ways to boost exposure of my new novel.  I quickly realized HARO could do much more for me!  The variety of reporters brought me into a whole new world, and I now use HARO for exposure as I journey into literary works AND freelancing.  It works because I’ve incorporated it into part of my job and I treat it as such.  I’m very determined to incorporate my articles into my site, my Twitter and to help the reporter as much after the publication of their article as I was the moment I submitted my pitch.  It’s more than backlinks to me; it’s about developing relationships! AND that doesn’t include my new job at Fridge Magazine, which turned into a job from a HARO query I answered.

I’m a working mom on the shores of Lake Erie that jumped into writing back in second grade.  My lifelong passion translated into my first published work by Page Publishing, NYC, last summer – ‘The Early Bird Café’.  It takes you into the lives of Jim and Eve, their deep friendship and the crossroads between true love and losing it all.  Since pitching to Fridge Magazine earlier this year, I am now a regularly contributing writer there, as well as a writer for iUrban.org.  In my spare time, I do author audits, microphotography, and collecting.

Here are a few placements I’ve received using HARO:
