Urologist, Founder Men's Wellness Institute of New Jersey
I’m Domenico “Dom” Savatta, MD, a robotic urologic surgeon and founder of Men’s Wellness Institute of New Jersey (MWI), based in Edison, NJ. MWI exists to give men the same care we would want for ourselves and our families—precision-built and technology-enabled—uniting an engineer’s rigor with modern medicine to deliver cutting-edge, evidence-based, discreet care and measurable results. I founded MWI because too many men are busy, embarrassed, or unsure what’s “normal,” and they delay care until problems are advanced. We built a model that starts with private, app-based screening at home and connects patients to timely telemedicine and in-person visits through a physician-led team supported by medical directors, advanced practice providers, nurses, and care navigators. We are in-network with insurance, and our goal is to help men take control of their health in their 40s and beyond—so they feel better now and protect the next decade. Domenico Savatta, MD graduated summa cum laude and Tau Beta Pi from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art with a B.S. in Engineering (1993). He earned his medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine, graduating AOA (1997), and completed a six-year urology residency at Indiana University Medical Center, internationally recognized for the treatment of testicular cancer and other urologic malignancies. Dr. Savatta’s clinical focus is adult urology, with much of his work dedicated to: Prostate cancer care, including MRI-targeted and systematic transperineal prostate biopsy BPH treatment, including office-based therapies and advanced surgical options (including UroLift and Rezūm, and robotic approaches when appropriate) Robotic surgery of the urinary tract, including prostate, kidney, and bladder procedures
