James McNally is an Equity Partner and Head of Personal Injury at Slee Blackwell Solicitors. He specialises in personal injury claims, with particular expertise in dog bite and animal injury cases. Known as “The Dog Bite Solicitor”, James has recovered millions of pounds in compensation for injured clients and is regularly asked to comment on issues involving dangerous dogs, animal attacks and personal injury law. He has given evidence to the EFRA Parliamentary Committee on dangerous dog regulation and has been featured in national media including The Guardian, The Daily Mail and The Sun. James was named Devon and Somerset Law Society Solicitor of the Year in 2024. He is also Vice President of the Devon and Somerset Law Society and a member of APIL.
