Kate Funk (she/her) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, Consultant, and Mentor (CEDS-C), and ADHD Certified Clinical Service Provider (ADHD-CCSP). She also serves as a Professor of Psychology and Student Advisor at Thomas Jefferson University. Kate is the CEO of a virtual private practice specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and co-occurring trauma and ADHD. Kate is the cofounder of The Neurospice Girls CEOs, an online learning and coaching company that helps neurodivergent women dismantle stigma, shame, and limiting beliefs — so they can reach their goals. Her work is grounded in more than fourteen years of clinical experience across treatment centers and outpatient settings. A founding NJ chapter president of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP), Kate also serves as lead facilitator and ambassador for the National Alliance for Eating Disorders' LGBTQ+ and Midlife and Beyond support groups, and has held numerous volunteer roles advancing eating disorder advocacy and treatment. Trained at some of the country's leading eating disorder institutions, she has provided clinical support to treatment centers nationwide. Drawing on her own lived experience in eating disorder recovery and neurodivergence, Kate has dedicated her career to deepening the understanding and treatment of these conditions — bringing both clinical expertise and profound personal insight to every aspect of her work.
