We need insights from work coaches who specialise in supporting neurodivergent clients. The topic is specifically on what a healthy week looks like. Often, neurodivergent employees will hear "I want to see you giving 100%" and will take that very literally and assume that means giving everything they have into their work all the time and end up being extremely burnt out. How would you explain what a healthy amount of work looks like in a week, or even in a day? How might this look during a fast-paced period (or even an industry that's always fast-paced) vs a quieter period? *About Dyspraxia Magazine:* Dyspraxia Magazine is a global, non-profit digital publication based in the UK dedicated to amplifying the voices, experiences, and expertise surrounding dyspraxia/DCD (Developmental Coordination Disorder) and other comorbid neurodivergent conditions like ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dysgraphia etc. Through a blend of lived experience, professional insight, and emerging research, the magazine bridges the gap between individuals, families, and specialists working in the field. We are often asked by members of our neurodivergent community (who are mostly dyspraxic, but also adhd, autistic and dyslexic, etc) questions about how to make the most out of a job interview. How can neurodivergent candidates make sure that the company that is interviewing them is the right fit for them? Often, people associate job interviews as being solely about a company ensuring that they find the right candidate, but many forget that, as the candidate, they need to make sure the company that they want to be employed by is the right fit for them. Burnt out is a real issue among neurodivergent employees, and often it is caused by companies not being able to support their staff's needs. And so, our question is: What are your top interview questions to ask an employer if you are a neurodivergent candidate? *About Dyspraxia Magazine:* Dyspraxia Magazine is a global, non-profit digital publication based in the UK dedicated to amplifying the voices, experiences, and expertise surrounding dyspraxia/DCD (Developmental Coordination Disorder) and other comorbid neurodivergent conditions like ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dysgraphia etc. Through a blend of lived experience, professional insight, and emerging research, the magazine bridges the gap between individuals, families, and specialists working in the field.
