Mathew Jean is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Florida and Georgia. Mat loves his family and believes that his family is his greatest asset. A husband of 17yrs and a father of 6, Mathew takes on his role in home with joy. He is a visionary poised to take up the cause of mental health issues in today’s society. Currently, Mathew serves his community through his private practice Beach Stone Counseling. He sees individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life get the support they need to live the lives they desire. He specializes in Black Male Wellness and Relationships Intimacy. He believes he is the therapist he needed 20 years ago and so he is passionate about helping black males thrive. This is evident through the many initiatives he’s started such as the Fatherhood Speaker series, which allowed various successful Black fathers share their stories and experiences. Mathew also serves as the lead trainer in Jeanius Consulting, which is his speaking practice aimed at educating the community on important mental health topics. As a professional, Mathew has worked in the substance-abuse field for more than five years. As a public speaker, he inspires and motivates others to value their family life and relationships. He is also a four time published author of children’s books with more in the way. His life’s work is to advocate for those who suffer from mental illness and mental health issues by bring awareness to the local communities of South Florida and the greater Atlanta area.
