I’m a VA Home Loan Specialist focused on helping veterans and military families successfully navigate the path to homeownership. My work centers on simplifying the VA loan process, educating borrowers on how to maximize their benefits, and providing clear, practical guidance on purchasing or refinancing a home. As a U.S. Army Veteran who served as a Combat Medic in Iraq, I bring a deeply personal understanding of military service and the transition to civilian life. That experience shapes my commitment to serving fellow veterans with integrity, clarity, and purpose. In addition to my work in the mortgage industry, I am a founding Board Member of the Denver Chapter of the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP-Denver), where I served from 2019 to 2025. I currently serve as Vice Chair of VAREP’s National Education Committee (NEC) and am a co-author of the organization’s Military and Veteran Lending Certification (MVLC) course. Through these roles, I contribute to advancing education, advocacy, and professional standards in veteran housing. I regularly provide insight on VA home loans, veteran financial empowerment, housing accessibility, and the realities of post-service life. I aim to deliver clear, actionable, and trustworthy commentary that helps veterans, and those who serve them, make informed decisions. With a combination of industry expertise, national-level leadership, and firsthand military experience, I strive to be a responsive and reliable source for journalists covering veterans, housing, and financial readiness.
