CEO of Villain Esteem, PLLC., Executive Director of Vindicate Horse Rescue & Training
I am guided by a deep belief that healing, growth, and second chances should be accessible to both people and animals. As the owner of a mental health counseling practice, my work centers on shaping the future of the profession by creating meaningful opportunities for emerging clinicians. By hiring and mentoring associate counselors, I focus on cultivating a professional environment grounded in learning, ethical care, and compassionate connection. Supporting associates as they develop confidence, clinical judgment, and authenticity in their work is one of the most meaningful aspects of my role. Investing in their growth allows the impact of thoughtful, high-quality care to extend far beyond what any one person could accomplish alone. My commitment to restoration continues outside the clinical field through Vindicate Horse Rescue, where I dedicate my time and energy to protecting horses at risk of entering the slaughter pipeline. Each horse arrives with a unique history - some shaped by neglect, fear, or abandonment - and the process of rehabilitation requires patience, consistency, and deep compassion. Providing a safe place for these animals to land, rebuild trust, and move toward a new beginning reflects the same core values that guide all of my work: dignity, respect, and the unwavering belief that transformation is possible when care and stability are present. Whether nurturing the development of future counselors or creating second chances for vulnerable horses, I am driven by the conviction that meaningful care creates lasting change. True impact is measured not only in immediate outcomes, but in the strength, safety, and hope that continue forward long after the first moment of support. My work is rooted in service, resilience, and the steady commitment to building something better—for individuals, for communities, and for every life entrusted to that mission.
