My book Classic Restaurants of New Orleans (2019), published by Arcadia Publishing/The History Press with a foreword by Walter Isaacson, delves into the history, lore, and recipes of thirteen of the Crescent City's most storied family-owned restaurants. I previously served as Arts & Entertainment Editor at Country Roads magazine, curating and contributing monthly magazine content in addition to a comprehensive cultural events calendar and twice-weekly e-newsletters. Today, I am the managing editor of 64 Parishes, overseeing publication of the quarterly culture and history magazine from the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities.
