Claim your profileI’m an award-winning audio storyteller currently producing, reporting, and hosting science content for The Arizona Republic. As host, producer, and reporter on The Lab at azcentral, I take complex scientific research and make it clear and concise for our audience. I also aim to make these episodes, and all of my work, engaging. It could be responding to listener inquiries, having conversations with a diverse set of people, or spending time in the archives to provide context for a story. Before coming back to my beloved home state of Arizona, I was part of an initiative between WFAE, a public radio station, and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library. This partnership allowed me to learn and listen from the community and respond to their questions with engaging audio and digital content.I also have been a corps member with Report for America, where my award-winning work has appeared on NPR newscasts, All Things Considered, and Here & Now, as well as in USA Today. I’ve also been a fellow in IWMF’s Gwen Ifill Mentorship Program and NPR’s Next Generation Radio. In my spare time, I like to spend time in record stores, travel, and indulge my creative side by drawing and crafting.
