Andrellos Mitchell is a Washington, D.C.–based Publisher, Attorney, and Media Analyst. He is the founder and principal of The Mitchell Report Media, LLC (brand name: The Mitchell Report), an independent media and analysis organization focused on law, courts, governance, public policy, civil liberties, and culture. Mitchell holds academic degrees in social work, adult education, and law. He has practiced law in Washington, D.C., for more than two decades, primarily in civil litigation, and is admitted to practice before multiple federal courts, including the Supreme Court of the United States. His legal background informs his media analysis, which focuses on translating complex legal and institutional issues for general audiences. In addition to his legal work, Mitchell has an extensive background in education and public service, having worked as a social worker, counselor, and educator earlier in his career. He was also a nationally recognized collegiate track and field athlete, earning honors as an NCAA Track and Field All-American and winning a gold medal at the Penn Relays.
