Reading Between the Signs was recently translated into French and Chinese. I have lectured on topics related to culture all over the U.S., as well as Denmark, Sweden, Japan, Taiwan, England, Switzerland and the Netherlands. My partner, Dr. Thomas Holcomb, and I have created two educational, yet entertaining, online curriculums, See What I Mean and A Sign of Respect, about Deaf and Hearing cultures (www.treehousevideo.com) and a website Deaf Culture THAT (www.deafculturethat.com)I also combine my interest in culture with a passion for food in articles that illuminate cultural food traditions, immigrants' food stories, Deaf-owned restaurants, as well as travel articles.Specialties: certified legal ASL interpreter, educator, author, editor, video producer, freelance food writer, intercultural trainer
