I’m a journalist, nonprofit founder, and communications strategist passionate about storytelling that drives social change. With a political science and global policy background, my work has always centered on amplifying underrepresented voices—whether through editorial writing, grassroots campaigns, or digital media strategy.I’ve written for major media outlets like Daily Kos, Huffington Post, Brown Girl Magazine, The Messenger and Muslim covering everything from immigration, racial justice, and even entertainment features. As the founder of Awaaz Collective, I’m building creative spaces for South Asian and Muslim creatives to grow, network, and collaborate without competition.Alongside editorial work, I consult for mission-driven organizations and nonprofits, helping them craft their narrative, sharpen their brand voice, and grow their community through strategic communications.
