Ben is an experienced journalist now serving as Legal Managing Editor at Bloomberg News. In his role, Ben oversees the newsroom's coverage of high-profile litigation, criminal investigations and court proceedings. He also directly manages a group of seasoned editors in the US and Europe, who work with the group's reporters to regularly break news on white-collar crime and antitrust issues. Ben occasionally appears on Bloomberg Television and previously worked for more than a decade as a reporter in Washington, Mexico City and New York. He led Bloomberg News' team that covers US financial regulators such as the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Federal Reserve. He is a member of the D.C. Bar and attended The George Washington University Law School as an evening student between 2017 and 2021. He is also a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. Ben is originally from Chicagoland.
