I am a career journalist who knows the world of publishing and communications is changing and have been ready to embrace those changes. At its core, journalism and communications remains crafting a story that will capture a reader's attention, but the method in which that message is delivered evolves continually. A strong core of readers--especially for the trade publication I lead--still likes to receive in print, but we also must ensure that our readers have access to our stories in whatever platform they prefer, be it the web, daily email pushes, niche newsletters or through Social Media channels.
