Claim your profileGraduated AeroSpace Eng. at UoSC, upon my return to Italy in 1970 I worked at Aviation Div. of Alfa Romeo, where I had the opportunity of improving my knowledge about high performance piston engines. My first project in this domain was a three cylinder engine for the Motorcycle Div. of the Piaggio Group. Then moved to Ducati where I worked with the legendary Chief Project Engineer Fabio Taglioni, assisting him in the solution of a number of basic technical problems concerning the reliability of Ducati motocycle engines and designed a highly innovative motorcycle chassis. I left the industry to become technical editor of Motosprint and Autosprint weekly mgazines. In 1984 I created and became editor of two engineering magazines Auto Tecnica and Moto Tecnica, the first having been for a short time published also in the USA as Autotech. Starting 1991 I became freelance technical editor of a number of Italian daily papers, European Editor of Cycle World and a freelance project engineer. And still I amSpecialties: I have been granted both US and Europen Union patents for my project of a 5 valve head for gasoline engines
