Claim your profileI'm a journalist and newspaper editor in Hoke County, North Carolina with over 15 years of full-time professional experience. I'm proud to have served my hometown as The News-Journal reporter since March 2011, and as editor since December 2022. I've received over 40 awards from the North Carolina Press Association's News, Editorial and Photojournalism Contest, and was named to the Fayetteville Observer’s 40 under 40 class of 2023. I earned my master's degree from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia, and my bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
