I'm a norwegian photojournalist based in Oslo. I have a B.A in Photojournalism from Italy. Since 2005 I've been working as a professional photojournalist. I started out working as a stringer in Rome for the Associated Press. I later moved to Norway after becoming a staff photographer for the Italian photo agency Contrasto which is based in Rome. I'm currently working as their Scandinavia photo correspondent. Through Contrasto my stories from from Africa, Asia and the Balkans has been widely published in Europe and Russia in publications such as The Times, L'espresso, Snob, Internazionale, Panorama, Dagens Næringsliv, Der Speigel and Galatea. I sometimes work in hostile environments, and have therefore attended a training course in the UK for risk assessment in hostile environments. I speak fluently Norwegian, English and Italian.Specialties: Politics, conflicts, portraits and documentary photography.
