I am an Emmy award-winning, Executive Producer with 17+ years of experience overseeing success in increasing television ratings and multi-platform engagement metrics. I am a results-driven business leader and collaborative team player with a proven track record of breaking news, newsroom management, news writing, field production and producing.While living in NYC for 10+ years, I helped develop, produce and oversee content for several top-rated weekday financial network newscasts on CNBC, including "Fast Money," the "Fast Money Halftime Report" and "Squawk on the Street."During my career I've had the chance to help create, produce and manage several CNBC Presidential Town Halls. I've also overseen coverage of some of the most widely known IPOs in history- including breaking coverage of both Facebook and Twitter live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq Marketsite. My career then took me to Charlotte, NC where I reimagined the morning newscast into "Wakeup Charlotte" bringing it to #1 in the target DMA for both the 5 and 6 AM hours.Most recently in Raleigh, NC I oversaw exceptional ratings success in both our Fox50 10pm newscast and WRAL's 11pm newscast, consistently driving multi-platform audience and revenue growth. I've assisted in leading newsrooms to 4 Edward R. Murrow awards, including honors for Overall News Excellence.I am skilled in communications strategy, media relations, crisis communications, speech writing, regulatory communications and public speaking.My most valued work often includes inspiring producers and talent, while reimagining newscasts and developing high-performing teams.
