On July 10, 2025, federal agents executed search warrants on Glass House Farms; the largest cannabis cultivation company in California. Two hundred federal agents converged on their greenhouse facilities in Carpinteria and Camarillo. Chaos, confrontations between federal agents and protesters and violent arrests in Camarillo were captured on live tv. When the dust settled, 357 undocumented workers, nearly 100% of Glass House Farms’ workforce were arrested. 14 minors were located at the Camarillo farm. One worker died after falling from a greenhouse roof.
