My true passion is and always has been sports. I fell in love with sports first as an athlete, then through my exposure to digital media as a journalist. I played soccer, volleyball, and lacrosse. Playing was not enough for me as I grew up. I had an insatiable need to understand the sports world even more.I've worked in a variety of spaces throughout my professional career. As a long-form, investigative news intern I was exposed to a variety of research methods and story planning techniques. My experience as a sports production intern helped me to hone my passion for sports in a creative way through shot and call selection. As a VIACOMCBS intern with the CBS News department, I was given newsroom experience in a national broadcast setting for a 24-hour broadcast. I am field-tested and newsroom qualified to handle high-stress situations in real-time. In my free time, I can be found watching movies, working out, or spending time with my family.
