With a decade of news work, I have covered breaking news, some of Californians largest wildfires, a case involving a serial killer, and was featured on Investigation Discovery.During my time in College, I was considered one of the top 40 journalism students in America and was awarded the 2018 Dateline Jerusalem Journalism Scholarship. I had the opportunity to visit Sderot, Israel, a city less than a mile away from the Gaza Strip. On my last semester in college, I was the first to report of a homicide on campus.My education includes a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Stanislaus in Communication Studies: Public Communication and Media with a minor in Journalism. Two Associate of Arts degrees in Radio and Television, Interdisciplinary Studies: Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. I am open to continuing my passion for storytelling in a community which needs to have its buried and untold stories seen.
