I am looking for anyone who is connected with a UK university to support a PhD study into the academic transition from secondary to university education. The project investigates the reading and writing practices that students engage with in their final year of A-Level study, as well as their first and second years of undergraduate study. In particular, I focus on the following Arts and Humanities subjects/disciplines: - English Language and Linguistics - English Literature - History - Philosophy - Religious Studies However, participants are invited to reflect on any other Arts and Humanities subjects/disciplines that they feel it is relevant to mention. I am looking for students and staff who support students' learning in their first or second years of undergraduate study in the aforementioned disciplines to take part in a one-off, 30-minute questionnaire, with the option to take part in a follow-up interview (this portion of the study is optional and incentivised). The questionnaire is administered digitally, and it will not be possible to identify any participants.
