Claim your profileAs a journalist, various articles of mine have been used in publications ranging from Sky News, BBC, ITV and the Metro. I have reported and written exclusives on the war in Ukraine, the Turkish/Syrian earthquake, war in Gaza and the death of Sinead O'Connor. In 2023, I was shortlisted for an award for News Journalism at the NCTJ Awards of Excellence. I have a keen interest in people's experiences and stories, especially from underrepresented communities. I have sought out interviews with a wide range of individuals, such as community leaders fundraising for Turkey earthquake victims and the founder of a black children’s bookstore who aims to create a safe space for young black people. I have expressed views on social issues, such as sexual harassment and police brutality, using my platform to bring attention to these matters. I have a BA in History from Goldsmiths, University of London, where I developed my research, writing, and critical thinking skills. I also have an NCTJ qualification, which demonstrates my competence and professionalism in journalism standards and practices. I am passionate about using my skills and knowledge to inform, engage, and inspire my audience. I am always eager to learn new things, explore new perspectives, and challenge myself as a journalist. I aspire to produce high-quality, impactful, and original content that truly makes a difference.
