Rose to the very top of the field (National Public Radio) in just six years.Musically speaking -- logged eight years of community orchestra experience in high school through college before securing very first professional gig after graduation. This parlayed itself into 25 years of professional orchestral experience.Professional broadcast experience dating back to 1980, with stops at five public radio stations across the country. Work history includes 16 years of experience as the original Associate Music Producer from Day One of NPR's "Performance Today," the network's premiere classical show. Significant experience in classical music programming, writing and arts feature production. Experience working with Adobe Audition, Zetta, NexGen and MusicMaster computer systems.As an announcer -- great pipes with engaging and informative manner. Your friendly classical music host "talks across the backyard fence" to listeners of all music levels. Great storyteller.Twenty-five plus years as a professional musician. Was most recently on contract with the Maryland Symphony Orchestra (Hagerstown, MD) from 1989-2013. Other professional work -- Sioux City Symphony (Sioux City, IA), Annapolis Symphony Orchestra (Annapolis, MD) and the Millbrook Orchestra (Shepherdstown, WVa).
