I am an award-winning news director and media executive with more than thirty years’ experience in broadcast news and a deep expertise in researching and developing holistic strategies that attract new viewers and customers, elevate brand identity, and communicate compelling messages of integrity and excellence. Leading teams through change, navigating projects on tight deadlines, and writing messages that convey a company’s prominent image and brand is what I do best. As a leader, I enjoy training and coaching others to achieve corporate goals. A testament to this is my clear direction on story selection and coverage strategy and my ability to work cross-functionally to lead the highly-rated news organizations.As a writer, I know how to “tell a story.” Whether it’s a promotional message, an internal communication, or materials to advance a company brand, I excel at crafting inspirational messages that define brand identity and promote organizational excellence on all media platforms.Finally, as a project leader, I have mastered the art of meeting tight and fluctuating timelines and am known for remaining calm in intense environments where every written and spoken word is scrutinized.Communications is my passion.
