I am NCTJ-trained, with 16 years of sports journalism experience at the BBC on the back of working for national and local newspapers – Daily Mail, Today, Daily Express and Sunday Express – plus a magazine. I spent seven years on the staff of the largest sports website in Europe, BBC Sport, where I had a spell running the football desk before taking the role of chief subeditor.
