Fully trained BBC and Press Association Sports Journalist and Assistant Producer for the BBC Sport website, mobile and app, where we reach up to 31 million unique UK browsers a week (41 million globally). Was among 14 candidates out of a possible 1800 to have been awarded a place on the prestigious BBC Journalism Trainee Scheme, and among two to be working exclusively in MediaCityUK in Manchester. I currently work in BBC Sport Interactive as an assistant producer. Full-time experience working for the UK’s national news agency, in addition to experience working in television, radio, online, as well as at national and regional newspapers. Previous to that I was awarded with sponsorship from The Guardian Newspaper’s Journalism Diversity Fund to help part fund my career development.
