With a background in communications and news production, I’m looking for ways to apply my skills to support growth in the Mahoning Valley and Northeast Ohio. As a Multimedia Producer at Youngstown’s 21 WFMJ, I wrote and directed comprehensive news coverage, managing live broadcasts, breaking news, and digital platforms to deliver real-time, impactful stories to communities across a five-county viewing area.I have a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Government/Foreign Affairs from Walsh University, where I developed a strong foundation in communication and studied connections between media and public policy. As part of Walsh’s Blouin Global Scholars Program, I worked with my peers on international sustainability projects and studied hunger and food security in Moshi, Tanzania and Rome, Italy. These experiences helped me develop the ability to approach storytelling with an understanding of societal issues and their broader implications.I’ve always been a passionate story teller, and I look forward to using those skills to support local initiatives and highlight the Mahoning Valley’s potential.
