I have many years of experience in journalism, content creation and editing. I've worked as a managing editor, associate editorial director, senior regional editor, regional editor, senior online editor, senior editor, editor, and reporter. I'm able to write consumer-focused pieces as well as dig deeper and write for an expert audience on complicated health care topics. During my career, I’ve covered health care, insurance, business, financial services, credit cards, content marketing, mortgages, and history to name just a few. I’ve also contributed to five books on baseball history. No matter the topic, I give each subject matter the respect it deserves. I've been recognized for my work, including industry awards and community awards. I'm most proud of receiving the Town of Arlington Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Service Award, which is given out each year to a person in the community who is working in the spirit of Dr. King. I was also the first non-Arlington resident to receive an honorary membership to the Arlington Historical Society for my "many contributions to local history" while serving as editor of The Arlington Advocate, the Arlington Board of Youth Services gave me an award for my coverage of youth issues in town and the American Legion honored me for my coverage of veterans' issues.
