I am an entertainment journalist, writer and editorial casting director with nearly 20 years’ experience in the publishing industry. Currently I am Group Entertainment Director (Luxury & Women's Lifestyle) working across market leading brands, Elle, Esquire, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Red and Prima.I head up all talent bookings for these six brands - this includes print and digital magazine covers, brand events such as Harper's Bazaar's Women of the Year Awards and the ELLE Style Awards, as well as for multiple talent led video interview franchises.I am extremely experienced in creating and implementing bespoke talent strategies for brands, and have excellent relationships with publicists, agents and talent globally.KEY SKILLS:-Event booking: Experience securing talent to host or speak at brand events and manage them throughout the entire process. -Content: 20 years' experience of managing, planning and creating content across multiple magazine and newspaper brands.-Talent strategy: Working with brands to create bespoke talent strategies to hit their key objectives. -Contacts book: 20 years’ worth of industry contacts globally including key PRs, publicists, agents, managers, and the talent themselves.-Booking: Experience in approaching, pitching and negotiating with publicists to secure talent for multiple brands. -Shoots: Managing and overseeing magazine and video shoots to ensure that both the brand and talent are happy, and the best content is captured, on time and in budget. -Cover interviews: Over a decade of experience interviewing and writing cover interviews for major publications. -Communications: Can spot the news line that will get picked up and create PR material to ensure coverage of talent interviews.-Multi-platform approach: Select the right talent to work across print, digital and video. -Commercial: Work hand in hand with commercial teams to identify talent opportunities.
