As a six time Emmy Award winning television journalist, Lu has worked in the tv news business as an anchor and reporter for more than two decades. During her career, Lu has covered national elections, natural disasters and world-wide breaking news. She has also interviewed dozens of celebrities including Bradley Cooper, Aretha Franklin, Matt Damon, Clint Eastwood, Barbra Streisand, and Kanye West.In 2018, Lu created Be Kind & Co., a media lifestyle company that focuses on multi-use platforms to share the message of kindness. From an online magazine, to branded content, and digital workshops, the company's goal is to create a space for individuals and companies to create content and implement strategies around the topic of kindness in our communities and in the workplace.In 2021, Be Kind & Co. launched a merchandise line of t-shirts & hoodies with the intention of spreading positive messaging No stranger to the stage, Lu is also a professional speaker and travels the country talking about the power of kindness and how kindness creates success. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in Education from The Citadel. In her free time, Lu is an advocate for homeless animals. She lives in Los Angeles with her 108 pound rescue dog Moose.
