You have a vision of how things will go and work out, and then 7 years later, you've run through another three or four of those plans. If there's one lasting lesson from my boxing career, it's that you have to roll with the punches. The trials I've faced in my life have forced me to change my approach, my dreams, and my understanding of the world countless times. I'm grateful for that! I wouldn't be who I am today without it.The past decade has taken me from on track to professional athletics, to working in coaching, to having to take time away from school and my career as a whole to get my health right. From there, I truly found my love in life: Basketball. What started as a yearning to learn through writing and breaking down the game grew into a passion to understand the individuals in and around it, leading me to build relationships and test myself in a way that was quite frightening earlier in my life. My time with the WNBA brought me into an even greater appreciation for the game, the importance of context in all settings, and helped me discover new paths for my future. My goal is to work in a WNBA front office. I want to build teams and rosters holistically, with great people and great ideas. I want to keep learning from those who know more than me. I want to share what I know and my experiences with people who could benefit from it. I've made an impact with every stop I've had along the way, continuing to build myself and others up, and I can't wait to continue doing that in the future, this time with an even more solidified goal/dream in mind constructed by the experiences of my early adulthood.
