Claim your profileI'm a journalist with experience as a reporter, editor, newsroom manager and editorial director for newsletters. Currently I'm Director of Newsletter and Projects Editor at The Conversation, a journalism nonprofit that publishes news analysis, research news and explanatory journalism written by academics and edited by journalists. I started as the company's Deputy Editor shortly after its launch in the U.S. and managed a team of editors covering science, technology, environment and health. Previously, I was a Contributing Editor at MIT Technology Review and wrote about technology, science, and energy & environment for the Boston Globe, the Guardian, Scientific American, Greentech Media, Xconomy and other publications. For 10 years, I was a reporter at CNET/CBS Interactive where I ran the Green Tech blog, a finalist for Editor & Publisher's EPPY award in the best news blog category in 2010. Before that, I was executive editor of IT industry publication InfoWorld (IDG), where I managed a staff of 20 reporters and editors for online and print.
