Claim your profileMary is a highly experienced legal publisher, content provider and conference organiser with over 25 years experience creating and launching leading multi-media products. A former editor of The Lawyer magazine, she has founded many of the top publications in the legal arena, from the award-winning Legal Week (PPA Business Magazine of the Year), Legal Director, Legal IT and Legal Benchmarker to three of the largest legal websites globally. She has created some of the world's largest legal events including The Lawyer Awards, The Legal Week Awards, The Lawyer Summit, The Corporate Counsel Forum, The Legal IT Forum (acquired by Informa) and The Private Client Forum, IBTM event of the year. In 2005, having sold Legal Week Publishing to Incisive Media, she co-founded the first legal search and comparison website and was part of the team which launched ProcureLaw.com, the cloud-based global tendering platform for legal services, sold in 2013. She was also involved in the purchase of the European Lawyer Reference Books (sold to Thompson Reuters). Currently she runs The Global Legal Post, an online daily news briefing - which she co-founded in 2012. She also created and runs the first business and legal summit for the luxury marketplace, the Luxury Law Summit as well as the Luxury Law Alliance, the first luxury law network servicing the luxury industry globally. The Alliance also includes The New Luxury Summit- a masterclass and pitch event for luxury entrepreneurs. Other events include GC Futures, The Future of Law and the Women, Wealth and Philantrophy. On the technology front, Mary created and publishes the first magazine servicing the robotics, automation and Ai sector on legal affairs - the Robotics Law Journal. She is an active volunteer and has been involved in a number of charities dedicated to the arts, culture, peace and reconciliation and education as well as supporting women and business issues.
