I am a Reporter and Editor laid off from The (Raleigh, N.C.) News & Observer Publishing Company currently doing freelance work. I also have experience as a Weekend Metro Editor for a daily paper; working in the Office of Communications for the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences in Research Triangle Park, N.C., and working in the Virtual Village computer lab of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg (N.C.) Public Library.I also worked as Doorman at a nightclub and dive bar in downtown Chapel Hill, N.C., called the Cave, which has hosted recent performances by Tommy Stinson, formerly of The Replacements and Guns and Roses, and Richard Lloyd, formerly of the band Television, known for its influence on punk and alternative rock.
