Claim your profileIn 1989, founded Solar Stat and successfully launched a line of removable, reusable, tinted window film for commercial, industrial, and residential customers. I worked with factories across the globe to engineer this idea and bring this concept to life. I created a strategic business plan that would capture market share in a competitive industry. I effectively signed on distributorships worldwide, created budgets & controls to guarantee above average profit margins, and set-up financing & credit to fund operations. Shortly thereafter created & implemented a marketing plan aimed towards educating the market on the brand and category through a series of editorials, merchandising at in-store clinics, DR campaigns and infomercials and retail development. Solar Stat was recognized by Fortune Magazine, Popular Science and Popular Mechanics Magazines. Then my affiliation with television begun. I appeared frequently as the "on-air personality" on QVC. In 1991 won Best New Product & Packaging Award from the Hardware Industry. In 2001, I moved into the next phase of my career, Branded Entertainment. I was one of the team leaders who developed & launched highly recognized educational television shows including Health & Lifestyles, Designing Spaces and The Balancing Act. In this role, I worked with brands to help them reach the American consumer in a credible, non-commercialized way. Through my position as a Senior Producer for The Balancing Act, I continued to lend my expertise and knowledge to the industry. My passion since the passing of my son, Matthew Goldberg on November 15, 2012, is to build awareness and erase the stigma of addiction so addicts and their families can live normal productive lives. In June of 2014 I returned to producing television as Senior Producer with Kathy Ireland on her consumer and B2B television shows. Our War on Addiction and Mental Illness Series was created in honor of my son Matthew Goldberg.I am continuing my War on Addiction and Mental Illness stories as Senior Producer with Meg Ryan on Empowered that airs on Public Television.
