EXPERTISE: More than 13 years of experience reporting, commissioning and editing stories, growing audiences for global news leaders and championing minority voices. LEADERSHIP: Leading CNN International’s homepage strategy, my responsibilities include managing a global team and optimising content to captivate a diverse audience. My team’s work, rooted in audience analytics, ensures that CNN’s editorial voice resonates across all digital platforms, from breaking news alerts to in-depth analyses. In March 2025, I was one of 34 journalists worldwide selected for Poynter’s prestigious Women’s Leadership Academy in Florida. INCLUSIVITY: As a staunch advocate for inclusivity, I have initiated several series that highlight underrepresented narratives. These efforts help strengthen CNN's reputation as a pioneer in culturally sensitive journalism. ASPIRING NOVELIST: Outside of the newsroom, I am editing my debut fiction novel that explores the experiences of the Indian diaspora. It was long listed for the London Writers' Awards in 2019, among the final three novels selected by reputable literary agent Jon Wood, and made the final 10 in Hachette publisher’s 2022 “Grow Your Story” mentorship programme.
