Before that, I covered the American elections in 2011 and three Israeli elections. In my reporting from Jerusalem and Europe, I broke many news stories, including developing relations between Israel and Gulf countries. 2004- Senior Broadcast JournalistI worked in various positions when I joined BBC World Service Arabic Radio in 2004. As a London reporter, I covered many stories, including the 7/7 bombing in London and interviewed the first released Guantanamo Bay British resident. I participated in many off and on-the-record meetings with government ministers and officials. Soon after I joined BBC Arabic TV as a broadcast journalist, in 2012, Queen Elizabeth II celebrated 60 years - Golden Jubilee; I covered the special event. Then I acted as a senior journalist and produced most news bulletins, including World at one and NewsHour. I then joined the team at the newsgathering desk.1998 – 2001 Al Jazeera - Newsroom Editor Based in London in collaboration with Dow Jones, I started as a senior Journalist/reporter. I reported extensively from Vienna on OPEC Meetings; I did a unique series of reports on the Egyptian Delta and other world events. I covered three meetings of the World Economic Forum in Davos. Shortly I became the editor in charge of four daily business bulletins from London studios. I was leading a team of journalists and producers. I helped develop their skills and provided guidance. I was regularly reporting to the top management in London and Doha. 1991 -MBC - Currant Affairs producerJust as I graduated from the London Institute for film and video, I joined the first Arab satellite channel, established in London. I worked on a programme called “Special Files”, where we covered major stories like the war in former Yugoslavia, Somalia and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I have produced over 80 episodes of various current affairs programs during my four years with the organisation.1988- ABC Field producer -ABC- NPRI took my first steps in the field, learning about research and filming on location. I worked as a field producer with the American network. I helped the news corporation cover the first Intifada in the Israeli-occupied territories. The year after, I also worked as an editorial assistant for the American Radio Network NPR.
