Claim your profilePeter DiCampo is an award-winning visual journalist and editor. He is a cofounder of the acclaimed Everyday Africa project and its resultant nonprofit, The Everyday Projects, through which he and a global community of photographers seek to dismantle media stereotypes, broaden coverage beyond the headlines, and promote local storytellers worldwide. He is a Stanford John S. Knight Journalism Fellow, a co-Author of the Photo Bill of Rights, and the recipient of grants and awards from The British Journal of Photography, ICFJ, Magnum Foundation, Open Society Foundations, PDN30, PDN Photo Annual, POYi, and Pulitzer Center, among others. His photography has exhibited internationally and has appeared in the world’s leading publications. He is a Visuals Editor at ProPublica.
