Claim your profileI love serving my community, whether it's helping inform them as a reporter, volunteering or preserving our culture through renovating historic homes. I have 25 years experience in TV--having worked as a TV Anchor/Host/Reporter and producer. I have also worked in radio--having created, produced and hosted my own Real Estate Show. I own Lone Wulff Ranch, a wedding and event venue outside Sacramento. I previously managed my own real estate development company overseeing procurement, budgeting, construction, design, sales and marketing for 30 properties. I worked all over the country before returning to California and KOVR-TV-spending 10 years in New Orleans. I worked as a weekend anchor/reporter for WWL-TV and a weekend anchor/investigative reporter for WDSU-TV. I covered major stories like the BP Oil Spill, public corruption scandals, hurricanes and the Saints' Super Bowl win. During Hurricanes Isaac, Gustav and Ike our station was live non-stop for days--streaming online and broadcasting on Direct TV in order to provide vital information to those who had evacuated nationwide. In 2014 I was recognized by the New Orleans Press Club and won a Gabriel award for a story about a quadriplegic medical student. I have also been recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists for a franchise on blighted properties that I developed called 'Neighbor or Nuisance,' where we tracked down homeowners and helped get them cleaned up or torn down. In 2005-2007 I worked as a reporter/anchor in Philadelphia for Comcast News 8, a regional cable outlet along the East Coast seen by up to six million viewers from Richmond to Boston. From 2002-2005 I was a weekend anchor/reporter for WTOL-TV in Toledo, Ohio where I earned the title of AP 'reporter of the year'. I also worked for Delmarva 47 News for four years before that in Salisbury, Maryland earning a number of Press Club awards.Specialties: 4-H volunteer,The Advocacy Center, Susan G.
