I have worked across not-for-profits, finance, media, and government to advance Indigenous reconciliation, economic inclusion, and community-driven solutions.As President of the Niagara Regional Native Centre, I have strengthened governance, secured funding, and led Indigenous-driven approaches to policy and service delivery. I advocate at municipal, provincial, and national levels, ensuring that Indigenous voices shape policies that impact our communities.Beyond governance, I bring extensive experience in media and communications, having worked with CBC, One Dish, One Mic, and national Indigenous platforms. As a journalist and broadcaster, I have amplified Indigenous perspectives, challenged systemic barriers, and fostered greater understanding between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities.In the corporate sector, I have advanced economic reconciliation and Indigenous inclusion. As Director of Business Development for Indigenous Engagement at Meridian Credit Union, I developed Indigenous equity partnerships, improved workforce representation, and advised organizations on meaningful engagement with Indigenous communities.I believe in the power of collaboration and knowledge-sharing to create lasting change. My leadership on boards, advisory councils, and committees reflects my commitment to Indigenous self-determination and governance.
