I’m Sean Warkentine, a radio host and interviewer with MET Radio Station, where I engage authors, researchers, academics, entrepreneurs, professionals, creatives, and subject-matter experts in thoughtful and meaningful conversations. Through my interviews, I explore books, ideas, culture, education, history, science, business, entrepreneurship, society, technology, public affairs, and contemporary issues. I’m interested in giving my guests a platform to share their knowledge, experiences, perspectives, and the stories behind the work they do. I particularly enjoy conversations that take complex ideas, specialized knowledge, or personal experiences and make them accessible and interesting to a broader audience. Whether a guest has written a new book, conducted important research, built a business, created something meaningful, or has a unique perspective on an issue, I’m interested in exploring the ideas and experiences that can inform, inspire, and challenge listeners. My conversations are designed to go beyond simple promotion. I want to understand what shaped my guest’s work, why their ideas matter, what they have learned along the way, and how their experiences connect to the world we live in today. Areas of interest include: books and publishing, education, history, science, culture, society, business and entrepreneurship, technology, innovation, public affairs, the arts, personal experiences, and interdisciplinary research. Hello, I’m looking for authors, researchers, educators, professionals, founders, and subject-matter experts who can provide informed perspectives on their area of expertise for an upcoming radio conversation. We are particularly interested in experts who can discuss a recent book, research, professional project, emerging issue, or subject that has broader relevance to listeners.
