Seun Shokunbi is a journalist, educator, and speaker who has written for Al Jazeera English, GNET, Fodor’s Travel Guide, and The Lancet Global Health. She’s been a speaker at TEDx, Boston College, Rutgers, and Columbia Business School, and has been recognized by the African Union and Corporate Counsel Women of Color for addressing gender parity in her work. She studied Economics and Education at Columbia University, and holds a Master’s degree from SOAS, University of London (graduating magna cum laude). She studied journalism at Fordham University and is a former middle school teacher, instructional coach, and Education Pioneers fellow.
