Claim your profileI've really had a taste for almost every different form of written journalism through my classes and internships: hard news, magazine writing, features, press releases and public relations writing, blog posts, etc. I've also learned about different multimedia techniques such as audio recording and editing, blogging, photography, basic data visualization and web design through classes like Intro to Multimedia, Intro to Visual Storytelling and Web Design for Journalists. In addition, my involvement with the Massachusetts Daily Collegian has been crucial to teaching me what goes into managing and making a newspaper. Through my positions as assistant news editor and copy editor, I've been able to play a key role in the paper's production. Here, you can view one of the articles I am most proud of, which was written as an assignment for a Magazine Writing class during the Fall 2014 semester. It is a 3,800-word piece about model horse showing.
