I’m seeking real-life stories for my upcoming book on runner longevity. One of the chapters will talk about the improtance of taking care of your medical health. Were you diagnosed with sleep apnea and you and and your running felt better after using a CPAP machine? Did you have a Vitamin D deficiency and too tired to run, but once you brought your levels up you were able to? Did your doctor say you needed to lose weight for health reasons and when you did that improved your running? Diabetes? You get the idea! Why share your story? Inspire Others: Your hurdles and triumphs can provide the roadmap for someone struggling today. Preserve Your Legacy: Get featured in a published work dedicated to the sport you love. Join the Community: Be part of a project focused on health, resilience and the joy of movement.

I am writing a book about runner longevity and I'm looking to interview a few runners who have taken care of a medical issue (or keeping one under control), and improved their running performance, enjoyment, etc, as a result. For examples: Were you diagnosed withe sleep apnea and your running improved after starting the use a CPAP machine? Were you diagnosed with vitamin D defiency and were too tired to run but got treated and were able to run again? Did the doctor say you needed to lose weight and when you did your running improved? I'm looking for two to three runner stories.
