Claim your profileWith 15 years of experience in legal journalism, I am passionate about covering the business of law and legal technology as an Assistant Managing Editor at the ABA Journal, the flagship publication of the American Bar Association. I oversee the "Business of Law" department, which delivers insightful and timely stories and columns on topics such as law firm management, legal innovation, marketing, wellness, and education. I also manage a team of staff reporters and freelance writers, and pitch, assign, and edit features, short stories, op-ed columns, statistical analyses, and special series for both print and web. As a former lawyer and a graduate of Columbia University's School of Journalism, I have a unique perspective and a strong background in the legal industry and the media. I am also the author of the book "Nixon in New York: How Wall Street Helped Richard Nixon Win the White House", which explores the role of Nixon's law firm in his political comeback. I have won multiple national and regional awards from the American Society of Business Publication Editors for my work at the ABA Journal, including gold awards for feature series and group profile. I am always looking for new ways to engage and inform the legal community and the public through compelling and relevant stories.
