Policy & Media Analyst | Tech Governance & Geopolitics | Global Policy, AI & Regulatory Affairs | Parliamentary Tracking
south delhi campus, delhi, india
My mornings begin with newspapers - a lot of them. Over 100+ Indian and international publications, every single day. By the time most people have their first cup of coffee, I have already worked through what moved overnight in politics, policy, and the world, and turned it into something structured and usable. I am a Media and Policy Analyst with seven years of experience. That title means something specific: it is not just about following the news, but about understanding what the news reveals - which policy pressures are building, which regulatory debates are shifting, which political developments will matter six months from now. I studied Political Science and History, and that shapes everything about how I work. I am less interested in the headline than the pattern behind it - why a particular policy landed now, what a diplomatic shift actually signals, how a regulatory move in Brussels or Washington finds its way into New Delhi. Context is not a bonus. It is the whole point. Working across both English and Hindi sources gives me a fuller picture of Indian politics than most English-only analysis allows. A great deal of what shapes opinion, political mobilisation, and policy debate in India happens in Hindi - and I read, write, and analyse fluently in both. For over a year, I have been sharing this analysis publicly - posting commentary on current political and policy developments to nearly 12,000 followers, a practice that keeps my thinking sharp and my output accountable. A few of my most-read pieces are pinned in the Featured section below. What I do, day to day: → Policy briefs and media scans across Indian and global affairs. → Parliamentary debate tracking and regulatory monitoring. → Technology and AI policy - governance frameworks, digital regulation. → Geopolitical analysis and electoral research. → Structured current affairs commentary in English and Hindi. I am also preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination - a process that has deepened my understanding of how the Indian state functions and how policy moves from paper to practice. If you work in policy, media, public affairs, or a think tank - or have something interesting to explore - I would be glad to connect.
