Claim your profileI am first and foremost a writer and editor — as the former Editor-in-Chief of Pharmaceutical Executive magazine, founding Editor-in-Chief of BioExecutive International magazine, and with Life Science Leader magazine as Executive Editor. With extensive experience in publishing, communications, and business development, I have mainly focused on the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. I have interviewed and profiled more than 400 top executives in pharmaceutical and biopharma companies, as well as major regulatory and health care leaders, around the world. I have also created special media projects and conferences, in addition to serving widely as speaker, moderator, and advisor for industry meetings. I led the development of Pharmaceutical Executive, a once obscure industry journal, into the leading publication in its field — establishing editorial excellence as the magazine’s primary business advantage. In 2002, my editorial team won the highest business journalism award in the United States, the Grand Neal (American Business Media Association). In recent years, I have served widely as a consultant in communications, investor relations, and business development. But writing and editing remain my core competencies and calling. Specialties: Publishing, editing, writing. Added experience in corporate communications, business development, strategic planning, clinical-investigator and key opinion leader communications, publications planning, media relations, agency relations.
