Claim your profileWith over 10 years of experience as the Executive Editor of POWER magazine, I oversee the production and distribution of high-quality content for the electric power generation industry. POWER is the most widely recognized brand in this field, founded in 1882 and reaching thousands of readers in print, online, and at in-person events. I hold an MBA in Finance from City University of Seattle and a Chief A Engineer certification from the State of Minnesota. My background in power generation spans various technologies, including nuclear, biomass, and coal. I started my career as a Machinist Mate in the U.S. Navy, where I gained valuable skills and knowledge in nuclear engineering. I advanced to the rank of Chief Petty Officer during my 13-year career in the Navy. I then worked as a Maintenance Supervisor at Exelon Nuclear, an Operations and Maintenance Manager at Fibrowatt LLC, and a Business Supervisor at Otter Tail Corporation. These roles enabled me to develop my expertise in power plant operations, management, and business activities. As the Executive Editor of POWER magazine, I am passionate about delivering relevant, reliable, and engaging content to our audience. I write and edit articles, blogs, podcasts, and videos that cover the latest trends, challenges, and innovations in the power industry. I also manage a team of talented editors, writers, and contributors who share this vision and mission. Together, we aim to inform, educate, and inspire our readers and stakeholders, and to uphold the reputation and legacy of POWER magazine.
